FYI, there's a difference between making suggestions and accusations. Last I heard, Joe is going to be running his car in the grudge races and possibly Friday night. No matter how the classes are designed, there will ALWAYS be someone bitching because they don't have their own class. You can either spend some time and money to make your car legal for a class or learn to be a better bracket racer. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

I am going BUT, I have to say this again. That CI cutoff is completely arbitrary and in fact goes against CI cutoffs for the NMCA, NSCA, and just about any other musclecar-oriented heads up racing events... Ditto (proportionately) for Mustangs with their FFW, World Ford, and NMRA.

The cutoff really needs to be up to STOCK CI + .060 overbore... that is considered to be the limit of rebuilding a SBC. So a 362ci is the max that should be allowed in the future. A 372, 377, 378, 382, 388, 393, 396ci LS1 is a bigbore or a conventional stroker so it will have over a 3 tenth advantage in that class. It's a flawed cutoff and I think Joe did that to favor his own car.

In future for the LS1Tech races next year you will see a max cutoff of 362ci for stock cube classes or LESS.

In any event, I just wanted to get that off my chest, when we researched NFRA we talked to about seventy racers to come up with the structure.
