Launching a 6-Speed LS1
I would not dump a 10 bolt more than 3,500 to 4,000 rpms. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

at the line rev the car to your desired launching rpm. (say 5000rpm)
When the third yellow lights up lift your foot straight up off the clutch as fast as you can while flooring the gas at the same time. (One fluid motion) This will load the drivetrain and greatly reduce the shock on parts. you will still cut great sixties with this technique. It takes a little while to get used to but works awesome.
Cheers,
Chris
Good luck to ya. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

Once you get a comfortable launch RPM, mine is currently 5000 to 5500 on 26" x 11.5" Hoosiers then you can work on dialing in the tire pressure a little better. It's just a lot of experimenting with launch RPM and pressure at this point! But if all this is too scientific, just bang her off the revlimiter and hold on! That works too, lol!

I have 196 6,500 rpm launches on my M6 Hot Rod and have not broke anything in the drive train. I had everything BMR has for our cars with no braking with 4.56 gear for 1/2 the season and now I have 5.13 gears with 30x9x15 slicks. I now have a Madman tq arm and solid motor mounts. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Start out with 4,500 rpms and work your way up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I will see how it works this weekend at Morocco with the new BMR Xtreme duty torque arm it's much more solid than the other BMR trak pak torque arm.
