M6 tranny questions
minimal there.
My third gear is gone.Problem started when someone else drove the car
tried to powershift 3rd and missed.
It would occasionally pop out of third on a down shift.
Yesterday it would pop out on every down shift and occasional upshift.
Last night it would pop out no matter what.
I'm guessing syncro?Every other gear is fine.
I have some more M6 records to break,so I don't want to step up to a
TH350 or 400(yet <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> )
Has anybody 'built up' a T56 with the viper parts,out put shafts,HD syncros,ect..
If so,how do they hold up?Any problems?Is it worth it?
I probably have 150-200 hard passes on the trans and I believe it would still
be fine if that powershift wasn't missed.

He'll fix the problem and throw a steel shift fork in.
Should be a couple weeks.

I just recently had my T-56 rebuilt (again) this time with all the good stuff - to include a new 3/4 gear shift folk. Rock solid.

The only downside is the trans need to be double clutched for down shifting.
I'll probably step up to a TH350 next year.
But I'm not sure yet.
If Nineball's trans is still Okay,it can take some power.
So I'll do a minor upgrade for now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
