Default First timer tonight!!

I finally went to the track and feel pretty good about its potential and mine too!

R/T .562
60' 2.209
330' 5.786
1/8 8.604
mph 88.02
1000 10.998
1/4 12.997
mph 113.22

This was on street tires and leaving the line at 1500rpms. I was not there to get the best time possible but to learn and see if I like it enough to go on a regular basis. FWIW, there was an 03 Cobra running consistent 13.2 at 109mph and a Mach 1 at 13.5 at 103mph. That made me feel even better.

60' 2.209

get some slicks or drag rads, and launch higher/harder. drop that 60ft into the 1.6-1.8 area and hit 12.5s easily!!

Congrats on the time

I hear you. I spun all the way through 1st and most of 2nd. But when I hit third it was like someone kick me in the *** and she was gone. I would hope with 113mph traps I could go even lower than 12.5's but its all up to the driver at this point.

Nice times. Get some tires and suspension. With some practice you'll have a solid 12 second car. Be warned it's addicting once you start racing/modding.

Nice for your first time. Car is moving nice on the top end by your 1/8th it's picking up.
Getting your 60' down is going to really help for a mid-low 12 sec pass that 330' is going to need to be in the 5.2's atleast and the 1/8th around 8.2-8.3 range. You can do it, it's summertime out wait til you get some nice temps then try back.

I'd suggest sticking a drag radial on there, get that 60' down and you'll see your ET drop your MPH is nice for 113 seeing I've ET'd 12.39 @ 113 in my 6spd back in March and I have a waaay smaller cam. So you got the power, just gotta get the run down from launch to finish I would say you could MPH that car into the 116-117 range. Mine has done that w/ my other half racing it back in 39 degrees.

Have fun it's addicting!

BTW, your altitude where you live can affect your times as well compared to if you ran in Florida in the winter near below sea level. Even 13.2 is slow for an 03 Cobra in heat unless he really can't drive too well.

Seat time is all it takes.

btw, I am a 'racer' chick

We aren't too high I don't think. Maybe somewhere between 500-800ft. Temp was about 80deg. As for the Cobra he was consistent most of the night with the highest mph that I saw and got on film was 109mph. The Mach 1 was trapping 104mph.
