Cool Best 60' on Factory Suspension

We were out at LACR last night, not your best 1/4 mile track, but can hook great at times. We were running in the bracket class, Jenibella won a 2nd place trophy again. On her last run of the night, she cuts a 1.611 60'! I wonder what the limit is on the factory issued suspension, I never thought it could hook and launch so great. About three months ago I was dreaming of getting a 1.699' she broke that racord (of ours) no problem. Now I am looking at her possibly breaking that record again, but with a 1.599 60'! Very unreal. What other cars running factory issued suspensions are 60' like this or better. Mods listed below:

2001 Camaro SS
weight = 3460lbs
FTRA
Hooker LTs and ORY pipe
open cutout
TCI4400
Convo Pros (all around)
ET Streets (26x10.5x15)

... even the front sway bar was left connected, wonder if I would have removed, if it would have gone 1.599

Congrats,,,I can cut consistent high 1.5s and low 1.60s with 26by 10.5 et streets stock suspension minus the front sway bar kinda easing it out the gate, i beleive with true slicks you can do better ......

I cut a best of 1.37 with factory suspension and no sway bar. Now with suspension I haven't been able to match that number again. My best is 1.47. Go figure!

Sounds typical, I have done 1.58, 1.60 is my norm. That was on Nittos. 1.37 is freaky!

Those are very impressive 60' times at LACR. I've never seen that track prepped well. I think the best 60' I was able to pull up there was high 1.7x or low 1.8x. Anyways, nice job

I wonder what traction would be like if I added the relocation brackets, LCAs, and a TQ arm ... as well as replaced the 100K+ OEM shocks with actual working shocks?
