Need more info on your set up so we can evaluate your technique. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
SIDE NOTE,the b&b and macs are not as loud as i thought it would be. infact,my mustang w/flomasters off roads and 1.58 headers is louder.
thanks mike c.,

Line lock, ET streets, 26x11.5 since you have the 12 bolt.
I have a heavy (3750 lbs.)M6 vert, with just about the same mods. If you have a good after market clutch, hold it @4500-5500 rpm depending on the track, clutch on the floor, don't heat it. On the last yellow lift off the clutch, again how fast and how hard depends on the track that day and how big your "fella's" are, nail the gas and your gone. Listen for the bog or spin and adjust for conditions. If you wait to the see green, your late. It works for me.
My setup is very similar to yours. I launch off of a 6600 rpm rev-limiter with a clutch dump. This nets me 1.59-1.60 pretty consistently. If I launch at lower RPM, my car bogs badly. If my rev-limiter was higher I would launch at an even higher rpm.
Good Luck
Mark
