ET/MPH Gains switching to 4:10's from 3:42's?
What potential ET and MPH gains would I get from switching gears to 4:10's from the stock 3:42? I know I will also need to switch to a 12 bolt or 9" when I do it.
My current best E.T. is 12.5 @ 113mph, 1.9 60ft in full weight convertible with the stock 17" ZR1 wheels with 275/40 17's Nitto DR's out back, and 275/40 17's F1's in the front. See sig for the rest of mods. Thanks,

I went 13.4X@106.5 stock w/lid,catback and after kooks/ORY,DRs,4.10,ported T-body have netted 12.5-12.6@112 with stock internal on low 1.8s.I would think you would see real low 12s or high 11 with your combo. It depends on your RPM,I went for shifting at 5800 and go thru at 6K and worked great, but after the cam install we will see.You want peak HP at the stripe.I would say a tenth or two.

Went from a best of a 12.97 with consistant 13.10s to a best of 12.59 after 4.10s and a UD Pulley. I think most folks give the pulley a tenth or so in the 1/4 mile so I figure three tenths came from the 4.10s.
