But, do you see my point that you can't just go off accusing everyone who takes a firm position (either way) a sack-sucker?

Brian before he broke ARE's record...

"Well said Josey. There are no hard feelings with ARE. Those guys beat me to the 8s. I am just trying to GOAD them into a race. I dont care about the motor. ARE builds motors, I BUILD SUSPENSIONS. I trying to find the limit of the Torque arm. Next year I have a 100mm turbo motor going in that should make 1800hp."

Excellent. Just beautiful. Now, Brian after he broke the record and maybe had a few drinks in him...

"Can you run? Were's your money bitch??"

"When and where? Do I have to drive all the way to E-town and have them not show up, or maybe Bristol and have them not show up, or maybe St. Louis and not show up, or maybe Canada and have them not show up.

Just say your scared."

"OK, ARE "No Show" Madman's suspension took the 5 top spots and can anybody in Canada top 1.28 60' on a stock computered LT1 with gas!

I DON'T THINK SO!!! "

"Where's the tube chassis? 3204lb kickin' ARE ***!

The new name should be "where A.R.E. U"?????"
<--- this one in the SAME THREAD as the before quote.

Now, perhaps your idea of what's a little friendly smack talk and what's not is a little different than mine, but my humble little opinion is that these after comments are out of line. I realize that my opinion means no more than everyone else's, but there it is anyway.

Sac suckers were not to whom took a firm stance on his lanquage but more to the ones that didn't give Brian a lick of respect for his accomplishments just cause he didn't have a leaky sieve of an LS1 under the hood.....

My appologies to the rest...

I'm going to bed...I need to get my rest cause I'm takin the 5page bet and probably figure to have my fair share of flames lobbed in muh general direction...

Do you want the f-bodys to get faster or get mired down by the limits of stock blocks?

I for one dont care what it is turbo V6, LS1, LT1, SBC.. WHATEVER as long as it keep stock suspension and sticks to our vision and goes fast. Who knows, maybe some day we will be sitting on this board praising someone for hitting 7.9x @ 178mph on a 10.5" tire.

I din't get what the big stink is all about, 8.75 on stock rear suspension?? On a "w" tire?? NMCA, NMRA, NSCA guys have been doing that FOR YEARS. Fox body stangs are going in the 7's with a REAL 10.5 not a "w" with stock rear suspension stock fender wells, Dwayne Gutride went a 8.46@167 on a 325-60-15 DRAG RADIAL!! in a coupe turbo fox stang. Ken Barnaby did a WHILE back to the tune of 8.30's(1.20's 60 fts) I believe in a 83 model Z28, the third gen and 4th gen cars are almost twins underneath. If you are not worried about what engine you guys have , if the car is sooo bad, go run with those guys. They have big blocks in f bodies, dont matter right? Build an LS1 or LT1 and do it and I will be impressed. And no my car is not fast, I am building one, one day it will be done. It is a fox body with "stock rear susp" 408 inch windosr and should go low 8's on spray. So whenever it gets done I can come out and play. Just stating facts above.
