Are you running a stock crank?! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Good luck, you'll need about 600RWHP worth of nitrous with that 346 to be close to 8's at 3200 pounds raceweight <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Should be interesting to see how the stock crank takes the hit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Cheers,
Chris

What kind of head studs and gaskets are you using to keep from lifting a head.

You can run in the 8s with a lot less effort by installing a Vortech YS trim blower combined with a modest (200 hp) shot of NOS.

My car will run high 9s now at lower DAs, with 8 lbs. boost and a 100 shot.

True, but that takes a bit more cash. If I'm gonna spend some money I'll be going the turbo route. Another easy out would be the "LT1" based set up. Old school with some surplus NASCAR heads + a carbuerated manifold converted to EFI = easy 800 HP with out a power adder. For the moment, I'm on a mission to go 8 seconds with a nitrous injected LS1 based 346. Maybe I'll make the next project goal a little easier.

I think you`ll be lucky if you make it to the 660...without chuckin a head gasket....or a piston or 8!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
