Default Proper rear spring adjustment for launching

I have'nt adjusted my rear springs since I bought my car 9 months ago. The front are lowered to look nice but the back looks almost stock heigth. I am just worried about helping my launch, and not so much concerned about how it looks. To get a better 60' should I lower it or leave it kinda raised up? The rear springs are Eibach ground control 125lb's. The front are actually a pair of Eibach pro springs. Weird huh.

Thanks, Hummer

i'm a bit confused..adjust ride height using your current springs in the rear? you can't..its not a coilover setup in the back..you'd need to change springs all together.

I have my stock springs in the back with Hal shocks. I have the stock spring cups removed and 1" heater hose up there instead to lower the back down a bit.

in terms of your 60 foot..stock springs in back really work best in most applications..

Yes you can change the ride heigth with ground control springs. Here's a pic of one of my springs, you'll see how it works.

The way you set the rear is you want to be able to see 1 1/2 INCHES OF SHAFT from the shock. This way the shock can work when you launch the car and not top out the shock.

I don't see that setup on Eibachs website. You have a link directly to it?

OK, I see what you have, but it looks more designed for road racing rather than drag racing. On your kit, did you have to do any fabrication or was it sent ready to install? Are you using their shocks or others?

Interesting, never seen a rear setup like that.

Def does't look drag racing friendly thought that's for sure..

No I'm using Bilsteins and its a direct bolt on kit. The guy from metarie (Ryan Hall) that used to own my car was real into autocrossing and chose to use these springs after already putting an Eibach Pro kit on the car. I still have half the pro-kit on the car (the front), the others I still have too. I guess this is why ryan put a decent little cam in this car and no gears or clutch (he was'nt much into drag racing), Thunder did all the work on the car for him and the only time he ever took it to the track someone else drove it for him.
You're from around BR right? Ill be in lafayette this weekend if you're around your welcome to check it out.
