Help me find ET Streets (17" will be available)
I go online and do a search and you would think no one every put these on our cars. Someone please help me out here. Went to MT website and they refered me to a dealer about 200 miles a way from me and when I called them they said they didn't make ET Streets in my size tire. (275-40-17) What is everyone using? What size are they using that will work on my 17" wheels. And is there a website out there someplace where I can order online?
Please help. Thank-you, Becky

www.billingsleyracing.biz can send you a set, click on their banner and email them...
ET Streets are not available in 17" sizes, only 16 and 15" rims.

They don`t make ET Streets in that size. You can get Nitto Drag Radials for your wheels. Give us a call and we can ship them out.

Should I go with 15x10 rims etc, and what size tires. I want the best set up for the money, but I want it to hook. I`ve got alot of power I don`t want to waste. Please Help!Pleased E-mail me and let me know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Thanks!

Re: Help me find ET Streets (17" will be available)
Mark Waite from Mickey Thompson just emailed me.
Seems they will have ET Street for our 17" wheels after the first of the year. Here is a copy of his email.

Hi Becky,
Well, there are no prices on the site due to the fact that we are the
manufacturer and utilize Distributors and Dealers to handle retail sales.
And we don't compete with them pricewise. You could ceratinly buy them
directly from us when they become available, but only at full Suggested
Retail price, which is $198.00 each plus shipping. What I'd suggest is to
check out www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com around the middle to end of
January for their pricing and availability on Part# 3743, 26x11.50-17LT ET
Street.

I have Nitto Drag Radials on now, but I could not hook up at the track with them yesterday. The track was not prepped at all, so it wasn't just the Nittos fault; I usually can hookup well with them at my regular track. But that track is closed now for the winter and went to test & tune at another very poor track. But that is where I will have to test out my car this winter and want to be able to get some traction there.

Damn, 17" ET Streets would be sweet but, 26" tall. <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> They need some 28" and 31" tall versions. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Beard you would need at least a 26x11.5x15 ET Street but something a little taller might hook better by taking more of shock when you come out of the hole. Perhaps also consider a 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP DOT. That's if you spray right out of the hole.

Re: Help me find ET Streets (17" will be available)
I wouldn't hold your breath on the 17" E.T. streets comming out after the first of the year. I spoke to M/T the other day and was told they had to change a few things and they had to be retested.
I hope they come out before March, I'm sick of going through a set of drag radials every 2-3 times at the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: Help me find ET Streets (17" will be available)
If you don't want to order them online, most any tire store can get them for you in a couple of days (assuming they're in the distribution system!)
Are you looking for full time tires or part time??

They still aren't available yet but they will be making a set of 26 x 11.5 x 17 in the ET Street. I will be ordering a set when they come out <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Help me find ET Streets (17" will be available)
I'm sorry! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
To be honest I have been watching 2 posts about these tires and have been watching the vendors to see who listed it first and Jegs listed them January 31st, but I did not have time to post link till yesterday! <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Well after U burn <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" /> up those radials, at least U will have a new alterative to try out! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
