Default Hardtop or T-tops? So many t-tops to buy

I've owned three hardtops and am looking for my final f-body. There are plenty of ttop cars for sale but you're paying for it and I don't want them. I'm sure they squeak and leak eventually and I'm bald on top (sunburn sucks). Hardtops are extremely hard to find (99-02) and I've decided as usual, a 6 speed is the only transmission for me. Anyone can "drive" an automatic quick. Any opinions or advice? Seriously considering a 01 SS hardtop 6 speed now. Thanks. Oh yeah, I really like Ta's and they're pretty much all ttops.

I love Hardtops.. but, the T-Top's in these cars are awesome. Even with hunderds of hard launches and 36K on the OD, my tops do not squeak or leak.

The other problem is color. I really like white and pewter but kind of have to be flexible with the used Z/TA market what it is. I just found a 01 Z28 hardtop 6m sunset orange metallic. Not sure what I think of that color. Seems kind of different. Maybe with a set of cool shiny wheels it would come off ok.

With a set of sub frame connectors it is unlikely that T-tops will ever leak or squeak. I have three T-top Camaros and none of them leak or squeak.

Non-T-top cars are harder to sell if you should ever want to.

BTW, I have an '01 SS for sale in my sig. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'll move this to the Racer's Lounge... <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
