Does removing the front sway bar really help?

Does removing the front sway bar really help? I have yet to try it because I'm too lazy to crawl under the car after a 2 hour drive to the track and remove the sway bar only to put it back before I go home. I was just wondering if it makes enough of a difference to go through all of the trouble. I know some people might say just leave it off, but the car is my daily driver (200 mi week) and I prefer to drive with it on.

ive never touched mine.. but ive had no need to remove it since ive always hooked fairly well. Stock shocks here still also and mid 1.5;s cam only.. 1.58's on nittos
ive yet to make any passes with the heads for a good 60 but i would hope for low 1.50's
