i have the stock 17X9 WS6 wheels and i wanna get more meat on the back the 275's arent keeping me glued to the ground. i have the BFG G-FORCE KDW's, is this good or bad? i was thinking about getting something in 295's what should i get and how big can i go as well as what would you recommend the biggest i should go? i heard that 315's work?!

315's wont work and plus you are on a street tire, drag radials are even hard to hook in the cold weather.

315's are going to help you in turns more than they will help you with straight line traction.

Go with a 16 inch BFG Drag Radial and you'll grip better in a straight line than the factory 17/275 tires, they cost less and weigh less not to mention you need to mount them on a smaller 16 inch rim (less weight).

thanks for the replys, i didnt think that the 315's would work. what can i do for street tires? i just want to keep the same rim and want something a little wider on the back? what sizes would you recommend doing if any? but now i know what tires and rim to get for hook up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> thanks a lot!

i have factory ss wheels and i have 315 nitto's and they hook good 1.61. and on the street they do good with a good burnout.
