I am not stealing any thunder though, excellent #'s no matter where the hell it is!

Does this mean I can't run 10's cause I'm not
in Texas?
I promise I'll wear a really big belt buckle
to the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Edit- the sad part is - these are his shakedown runs. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

rageman,i got a few questions.(first, great runs!!)didnt you run 121 with stock 3.42s @3200lbs with the stock internals?ive looked but cannot find exact race conditions(weight, gear, etc)if you ran 11.5X@121 with 3200lb weight with 3.42s,im sure that #woulda been 1-2 tenths and 1-2 mph better with 4.10s.i know you put a little less quality header on youre car,but i am certain these new headers would lose no more than 10hp.what did you have before11.5X@121,compared to what you have now 11.14@124?other than the cam.

The DA I don't know for sure, but it was very good. As far as what I would have picked up with 4.10's, I don't know. I agree with the .1-.2 (prolly closer to .2), but I figger the trap speeds would have stayed the same. I may have even lost a little, but who knows? I also figger about 10 RHWP lost with the SLP's from the Grotyohanns. Differences now besides the G5X-2 and tuning include the new headers, new true dual exhaust setup, heavier rear-end (9"), taller slicks, 150 more pounds, a worse DA, and the RAM 900-series clutch setup.

What changes are you looking to make to hit 10s cam only? If anyone can do it, it will be you <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Well, I think some better air or running at the downhill track (Hallsville) that all the DFW guys run at would be plenty.

But, I now have SFC's and a toruqe arm to help me get out of the hole at least a little more consistently. I will also have my new shiftlight installed by this next weekend, and maybe some new Dynatech 1.75" longtubes w/ high-velocity merge collectors which I will run open w/ 12" extensions at the track. This should pick up all kinds of horsepower over the SLP's. I will probably also be getting a little more tuning and more TB work. And maybe I might get an LS6 MAF...it all depends on what there is time for this week. I'd like to be back at the track this weekend.

Take care.
