compulink autostart.... what does it mean?

compulink autostart.... what does it mean? On just about every slip I see posted, I see that the compulink autostart think is off. At my track, the slip always says compulink autostart on. What does it mean and do?
autostart is a setting the track can put the timing system on.
This system starts the tree automatically when the Compulink senses two fully staged vehicles so the starter can concentrate more on the track and conditions of the race. Here's how it works: when the system sees both cars prestaged and ONE of the cars staged, it starts a 15-second timer. If the second car does not enter the staging beams within 15 seconds, a redlight is activated for that car. This redlight will NOT be negotiated! Remember, the system needs to see three lights before it starts the timer - two prestages and a stage. Don't try to burn down your opponent!

don't forget that some systems also have a 30 second timer that starts when both vehicles are pre-staged. Some tracks also adjust the 15 second clock for the 3 bulb rule down to 7 seconds in some places! Bottom line: don't play games or you'll get burned!

its the track choice as to what tree they wanna run. unless you ask for a specific one

same here, especially on a pro tree, if you stage last with a m6 car and dont have a 2 step you have to check you rpms and by then the lights going.
