Default Friday @ MIR with some crazy MPH...

Went to MIR on friday and finally met some of the F-body guys, Bruce Rowe and a few others. Had a blast at the creek and ended up with a new best nitrous time as well as a new best all motor time.
Nitrous
1.63 60' 10.68 @ 134.28 - 100 shot of nitrous on a stock 346 shortblock and H & C

All motor:
1.59 60' 11.31 @ 124.6 - setup for nitrous, TEA heads S2, Comp Cam, 3.90s

I really feel like the motor has alot more left just need to flycut the pistons for a real cam and stop launching like a sissy. Thanks to everyone who put up with all of my questions in the last few weeks.

WOW. That's enough mph to go in the 9s.

Good job.

Nice times Phil, good meeting you. That's a sweet Vette you've got. It kills me how well that thing idles with a 230 cam. No new best for me. 11.53 @ 120.82, 1.62 60'. Guess I need to get the rest of the weight out, to offset the roll bar. There was one bright spot of the night for me. On my best run I lined up with a tubbed 65 Nova. Looked and sounded nasty. Cut a .507 light on him and that was the last time I saw him. I love these cars.

That's really movin' out, Phillip! With a really good 60' time, that's definetely enough trap speed for at least a 9.8x or so...

It was great meeting up with you guys, maybe when MIR slows down alittle we can go up on a friday night to really work on setups and get the ETs down alittle.

Thanks, that is my goal for this year, single digits and a 346cid shortblock. I am going to work on some weight reduction as well as technique to see if 1.3-4s are possible.
