Chris,
it was cool to see you run, you were consisteent as hell (for the first couple of runs ). i9 was getting 4th gear scratches as well! gotta love bangin' gears
Hey Wade,
i tried the big tires to see if i could turn them over enough to get me outta the hole, well i spun, lifted the tires waayyy up there (waayyy up there for me anyways ) but i had too much tire and not enuff gear ...etc.
still ran better than last year first day out with bigger tires and a healthier powerplant ( to A.R.E) i look forward to running the car with my 26" et streets, next time on motor. i have some electrical gremlins to figure out, i think i have a bad ground off of the starter, i hate my damp garage! gotta clean up all of my grounds. i am actually energizing the ground that comes off of the head to the pass. side of frame rail when i use the bump start and/or turn the ign to start the car! i think that is why i had my msd take a crap on me! i hope i am ready for next sat. with work out of town it makes it near impossible to get ready!
are you guys coming down to St.Thomas next weekend for motown event??? hope to see you there
p.s. : will have a "worthy" pic to put up onto your wall

I have the engine in the camaro and want to do some testing I will try and make it!I would like to get the parachute on the car before I race london just for safety, you know me I dont like to shut down early.

You were also running through the full exhaust (Didnt open the cutout)
I think you have easy 11.1's-11.2s with a 26 inch slick and cutout open.

The only thing I've found problematic sometimes is that the clutch switch is very sensitive and you have to make sure you stage with your foot on the pedal correctly.

I meant it is tougher without the two step
It'll be great to just mash the throttle at the line

chris,
that is an awesome video!!!!!!thanks a bunch, it really shows how high the front end came up! AWESOME!
Chris, next time we meet I would love to run with you with a smaller tire
chris could you host the video of my run?
wade,
when i stopped to think about it, with the weight reduction, hals, and of course "motor Work" I picked up half a second from last year when i ran with the 28"er's!
that is just awesome, next time on motor I will be running the 26"er's or a borrowed set of 27" tires on 15x10 prostars either way i think with a smaller tire high tens are doable! i am not one to predict out loud but i do believe i will get there! i was shifting into 4th at about the 1000 foot mark yesterday so i was way out of the power band at that point.
either way i just have to figure out my electrical issue and next saturday should be fun, yes it is t'n't and motown is having their event.

heheh glad you like it It is a great run!
Unfortunately I can't host it as my webspace is currently full
I'll check around and see if I can find someone to host it for you.

Chris
ps- I'd love to run you when you get the smaller tire on. If we both hook we'll have a great race!!
I better get busy and get a little more weight out of the car

Chris,
Sounds like you had a great time.
Great times for the 1st time out. Ran about what we were thinking that it would run, which is very cool.
Maybe you should try a little bracket racing this year.
Good luck to ya.

Nice runs, glad the tires and rims are hooking well for you. I'll be looking forward to better times as the season goes on.
