Last nite after a great day at our local 1/8th mile track with Badz and Josey some drunk illegal alien side swiped my car trailer at about 50 mph. The idiot came at me head on and after I swerved he nailed the driver side of my trailer. He knocked both axles out from under the trailer and shoved my diamond plate fender into the quarter panel of the car. The trailer is wasted but I HOPE that the damage to "Flirtin with Disaster" is just cosmetic.

On a good note Badz was flying with his wheels up launches and hes coming along killer on his driving, and of course Josey was out laying numbers down on his drag radial setup.

That sucks brian. Good way to dampen the day after working on the car the whole day before. I wanted to hit sealy saturday, but I had a date with a lift and a welder.

On a side note, the new driveshaft is awesome! Was a pretty decent amount lighter than the stock aluminum one and there was a noticeable decrease in the drivetrain vibration when I got to drive it to town last night. Now to hit HRP this week on some tires and see what she'll put down.

I finally got the insurance adjuster to look at the car and trailer. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> The car is all cosmetic. The rocker panel has to be replaced and some glass work to the door and then repainted. The car is in the body shop and will be fixed by tuesday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
