So go out there and practice your burnout technique. This also applies to your tire pressures and launch rpms. Experiment and find what works for you, this is how a true racer does it.
Well put and understood. I know it's a learning curve, 'just wanted you guys to help me shorten it a bit

I was hoping to break into the 11's on my 3rd time out at the strip. I guess I need to be patient. With 413 rwhp, Nittos and a Spec 3, I know I should be able to do it.

Thanks all. Wish me luck!

ok for those that claim they hook the car with no burnout on a DR, let's hear some sixty foot times...and M6 or A4.

I'm sorry, but its common knowledge that a DR, especially a Nitto, needs to get hot to stick..and no not in the waterbox of course..DR burnouts should be done right on the edge of the box, not fully in the water..

1.85 to 1.95, depending on the track.

YES much emphasis on HEAT THE NITTOs about 5 sec at 55mph in the box then keep em going when rolling out was good for my 275/40/17 Nitto D/Rs.
Good luck to ya, Tom
