what size slick?
what size slick? Im currently running a 26" tall E.T. street. I am installing a Moser 9" w/ 3.70 gears and soon a th400 w/ a 4000 or 4200 stall....would it be better to switch to a 28" tall tire? how does that whole equation work out?
my first impression is with a th400(assuming stock 1st gear ratio) and that stall is that 28" tire would be too much for that gear. That would be a good power adder setup..
I would personally go to that 28" slick, but step up the gear to the 4.10-4.30 range..

well the rearend is already here and its got 3.70s. I may change them in the future but right now its gonna be 3.70s. As far as a power adder...I am absolutely dying to have a procharger or vortech setup but I just cannot afford to fork over that much cash and still be in school. So until I get into college or can make some better money, its gonna be NA for a while

. then if you already have the 26", run it and see first how you do getting the car to hook. and then where you're taching through the traps. if you're redlining, go to the 28", if not, then just stick with the 26" because that's the smallest you can get obviously.

sounds good to me Silent. is the et drag much different than the et street. We will definately meet up at SVT day at Jackson if your going! I gotta get my 3545 pig on a major diet before then!

Not that much difference between the Strret and the Drag except for traction always seems to be there. You get a [i]little[/] more sway on the top end from the softer sidewalls of the drag but you hardly notice it. Hopefully I'll be ready for SVT day 
You can use the 28x9 - which is 27.3". The 9" will hold a 1.40 60' without a problem. Actually I did a 1.35 60' on 30x9 Goodyears 
. But if you already have the 26" try them 1st. A slick IMO are much better than the ET Street - I have used both.
