Last time I checked a light car with a 408 WASNT a 3400lbs H/C TA
Apples to apples I think Brians got a good shot at the 10.37 H/C (hyd) Record in his car...

if you have no power steering...then if a hose clamp comes off...you stand the risk of having *gasp*! no power steering....sounds risky to me!

I ordered all the parts listed from summit and should have them by the end of the week.I read on here somewhere that you need a 52 inch belt so thats what im going to try.It also depends on whether you have a u/d pulley which i do.

I have an RX-7 with manual rack and LS1 and I want to delete power steering. What size belt do I need since I don't have an underdrive pulley so 52 inch won't work. Also.. I don't see how the belt should be routed, it seems like it will allow less belt contact with the water pump no matter what I do...
