My best 60' to date is a 1.42 with a Spohn #405 torque arm, Spohn 25mm bolt-in anti-sway, Comp Eng rear shocks at 50/50 with stock SS springs, HAL R series front shocks set at 4 with stock springs, and 28X10 Goodyear slicks at 16lbs cold/18lbs hot.

I don't have a K-member or A-arms yet. Best launch seems to be at 6200rpm on the bottle. With a little more suspension work I think 1.3x 60' time would be possible. T

he front shocks were probably the best mod to help the car hook. The R series will set you back a bit more than the standard 12-way adjustable, but are a lot cheaper than the afco's. Summit has the cheapest price on the R series that I have seen.

BMR non-adj LCA's and adj PHR
Spohn rear drag bar (the big one)

I'm going to get a Spohn tq arm and probably HAL's up front. What else do I need to maximize the setup? Air bags? Front Drag springs? What's a good investment, what's a waste of time?
The best thing for you to do is call Madman. Ask him how to get into the 1.3 60 foots. We have track tested results.

What do you have for a motor? Power and clutch play a BIG role in getting the 60' in a 6-speed even if the suspension is on the money.

380ci LQ9, 240/244 cam. ~480 RWHP on the motor, plus a direct-port kit that I can pretty much dial in as much as I can handle. I've been running a SPEC 3i but after three passes I think it's about done.

Alan you've built some pretty sweet six-speeds, maybe I should just mirror your setup.

Definately go with a nasty clutch setup. I went with a 4I, find out how it holds up this spring. There's some new clutch outta australia that I heard something about too, might wanna check that out if you are in the market.

i daily drove mine with the 4 in it for 3 months with the cam, it was no problem, just dont tailgate in traffic cause if you let off to fast youll kiss the car in front in a hurry. you can slip it with no chatter and with 4.56 gears its easy to drive and bites hard enought to bark 1st-5th gears
