when car was stock or near and on street tires i either revved to 2-2500 rpm,side-stepped clutch and let car bog a little and then matted it,not the quickest 60 but consistent.when i tried for a better 60 i would rev to 2500-3000 and ease the clutch out and easing the throttle down at same time to slip the clutch a little and keep revs up and not unload the rear.good luck.

No idea really. Perhaps the previous owner had installed some sort of aftermarket clutch in the car? Regardless whatever it is has been handling 4k launches like that for quiet some time.

The whole previous owner installing an aftermarket clutch idea is kind of rediculous though seeing as how the car was a lease. I picked it up 2 years ago w/ 32k miles on it. I would say it's stood up to 20 or so of these launches on bfg drag radials dead hooking.

answer these questions first:

what do you have for rubber?

what is your current 60'?

what rpm are you launching with now?

can't answer your question until you answer these first.
