Angry bye bye tranny, so much for making forward progress

time for a new tranny, was messing around town tonight with a friend and car rejected 3rd permanantly, its been acting kinda weird lately but she is finally done, got stuck in 4th, wont go into 3rd, hard as hell to shift 1st and 2nd sometimes. thank god for 4.56's i pegleged home using 2nd and 5th gears. i must say she has been a good tranny tho, over 250passes 150 in the 10's and never has been touched. time for a race m6 with only 1st through 4th with steel forks and cf blocker rings, time to go proshifted i guess.

hey Jason, pencil me in

LOL.. I got your message tonight, just didn't have time to call you back. Sucks on the tranny.

You sure you had fluid in it??

Give me a call tomorrow and we'll figure which way you want to go with the rebuild.

Hey Rodney, you might want to a shoot a pm over to Street Racer on the board here if u don't want to wait on liberty. His name is mike, he's one of my buddy's from here in florida and he's got a liberty proshifted t-56 that he just had redone sittin in his garage that I don't think he's thrown in yet. He might be willing to part with it, cuz he's also got a turbo 400 setup sittin there, and I think he's gonna lean more toward the turbo 400.

Your T56 held up well for all those passes. My 4L60E held up to well over 100 passes and when it came out it was still in working condition. You hear people bitch all the time about the stock trannys not lasting but I guess if you keep your car light and maintain them well, these stock trannys can last quite a while. Oh well, on to stronger and better parts. Good luck!
