Front shocks After rereading this thread: Spring Rates, I need some help understanding exactly what the shocks do, during a launch.

If the spring decides whether or not your gonna wheelie, what is the shocks part of this situation? Is it controlling the amount of throw back the spring sends during a launch?

The shock provides the damping or control over the spring.
