sawzall works great too. i would think cutting it out would really not be that bad. I have done 2 or 3 of them in the past. Guess it just depends on your skill level or somthing.

There is ALOT of cutting, I used a plasma cutter and it still took a couple hours per side to get it how I wanted. I cut out 23 lbs of steel per side There is also the plate that goes across the frame, it is spot welded every 2-3 inches That is a PITA to get off.

in order to use the extra space gained, would you need to cut the front and rear of the wheel opening to get enough clerance. I've seen alot of people cutting the bumper and front of the fender opening...for a taller tire i guess??
