slide-a-link

i can't help you with the slide-a-link bars but I have seen a 69 camaro with the Cal-Trac bars with a mono leaf spring run a 9.17. I'm not sure at all what the Cal-tracs cost but they seem less complex than the slide-a-links.

I prefer the Caltracs over the Slidealinks. They both work but the Caltrac is a better setup.

From: Gainesville, Florida # of drag strips runs: ?!?!?
caltracs are the way to go. I just bought a set for my Nova, as I already have 2 friends that run Novas with them, and both are in the 1.4 60 foot times with 10" slicks on std leaf springs at 3300-3450 lb race weight street cars. Plus John Calvert is a good guy to deal with; he runs stock and super stock eliminator with a 428 stick-shift 68 mustang and it hooks! Check out http://www.calvertracing.com for the info!

I've seen more cars with the Caltracs than the slide-a-links. I think i've seen about one maybe two cars with slide-a-links. The majority of the ones ive seen have caltracs and are well into the 9's or low 10's. $360 isn't that bad considering how much it cost just to do a ladder bar setup. Looks like I might invest into some Caltracs soon.
