A KB Cobra is going to cost money. The subject of this thread is a stock Cobra, which the poster says he can't even afford, versus a modified F-Body. No doubt a KB Cobra is a deadly quick car, but it's hardly relevant.

i heard that some LS1s had 1.8 ratio rockers snuck in there sometimes so thats why you have some freak 12.8-12.9 ls1s right?

I've never heard of that. GM did not even produce 1.8 ratio rockers in 01-02 that were availible on any car...so I dont see how they could have been 'snuck in there'.

Both cars are great. However, the 03/04 Cobra will hold it's value better to be honest. This can be seen online as they have been creeping up in value (Like the supra). Their internals are very strong, and there have been reports of alot of them holding over 600whp on stock internals. If you're gonna spend the money then the ski is the limit. The Cobras pathetic halfshafts are not good for launching, though the LS1's 10 bolt stinks too. With just minor bolt ons the 03 will see 450 whp, whereas you'd need alot of bolt ons to see those numbers in the LS1. It's all just preference IMO.
