If you are really building a "serious" car, you need to cut the wheel opennings for taller tires. Keep in mind that you are running a N/A combination. You will need more gear to make it run it's potential. If you need more than a 9" tire to cut a 1.3 sixty foot time with your combination you have other problems

The 4.10/26", 4.30/28", and 4.56/29.5" seem to be me about all in the same place. The 2 "bigger" combos are worth just a few more mph.

4.10/26-132 @ 7000

4.30/28-136 @ 7000

4.56/29.5-135 @ 7000

All calculate w/no tire growth or converter slippage. This is a serious drag car. I know its not a 8 or 9 second car, but I want to maximize its current parts/combination and get the most out of it.

Any last thoughts? I received the rear rims and DS-2s today and my 29.5s are waiting at the tire shop. If I wanted to change to a 28, I need to let the tire shop know so they can handle it and get them there.

stick with the 28/4.30. the smaller the tire the better if you can hook it.
