be prepared for sticker shock. Last time I checked, that hood was about twice as expensive as any other Camaro hood

1300.00? is it gold plated fiberglass?

So I can't get a hold of the guy, and his hood is WAY overpriced.
Nice.

I have his contact info.. he has a VERY wide range of price on his product depeneding on what you want it made of.. ultra light weight hoods (six pounds) are not cheap... but he also does them in fiberglass.. but they are big dollars.. you pay for what you get

$1300 sounds like the going rate for a carbon fiber pinon, is that the case on this one?

When I talked to Van Overbeek a few years ago his regular pinon was a bit pricier than VFN (or Glasstek). I think he would not take cards either which made me leery since he's in Canada.

Is the 'sunoco' hood oversized?(as in 'to the windshield')
I wanna cut my whole cowl out and need a 'to the windshield' hood.

other than the Mike Moran hood(too tall and wide) what other 'to the windshield'
hoods are available?

I'm sure VFN could make it however you want, they usually make those hoods per order. Just have them make the back of the scoop longer and trim it yourself. There is a pic on VFN's site.

The Moran hood is a bit too much for me..

They are going to custom make me a 'to the windshield' sunoco.

I feel much better supporting a sponsor.

Thats the Milke Moran hood, he has one too and I would tell him I dont care for it - just personal taste, not a reflection of how fast I think his car is Wormboy has one too, they are just a little too massive for me..

Joe O's hoods start at around 400.00 and go up well over 1000.00.. It all depends on what you want and what style your looking for.. VFN makes some nice stuff, Glassteck is all I have ever used but would do VFN also if they had the hood I wanted.. Joe O had the look so he is who I went with
