High Wheeling
i don't ever want that problem, i already damaged some **** last year as an N/A 6 speed and i didn't go on the bumper. i had my suspension set poorly after changing to a bigger gear and tire(used old settings). car went up. dragged the exhaust tips on the mufflex dual tip i was running last year(better than my bumper) hard enough to groove the track and came down and smashed my headers and cracked my stupid oil pan(i don't have R series shocks, just F series up front
)
oh well, i had no idea the gear tire change would effect things so radically suspension wise, live and you learn. couldn't afford to fix the headers, so they are still all messed up.

A set of travel limiters will do wonders in most cases with keeping the front end down. Have you tried taking the dents in the header primaries out with a ball expander? What tranny and rear gear were you running?

I've watched your video many times back to back to back and it looks to me like you tapped the brakes just before the 60ft mark, that would definitely do it. I know what you mean about not expecting it though, for 2 weeks before last years Thunder Shoot Out my car would pulled them about 18" to 24" and track straight as an arrow, as soon as we made some passes at NPR the car starting pulling to the left and carrying the wheels alot further out then the next pass....it stood on it's tail.

do the limiters help that much? can it effect the landing? i would think it would land hard without the travle of the shocks?

Limiters make a huge difference. When they limit the front end travel they stop the momentum of the car going up. You'd have them with 1/2" incremental adjustments so you can tune the car.
Even if you have wheelie bars you still want the limiters to tune the suspension.
