Fibreglass dash I know that VFN offers a fibreglass dash, maybe others as well.
Who has this product? How does it work? Is it a race-only thing or does it function completely? How realistic would it be to put this on a daily driver? Is it show-car-finish quality if installed right, or more of a racecar-only thing?

i have one in my car. I got the Glasstek one. The dash is a race only piece but I put all my factory faceplates back on.

I guess where I am confused is in knowing exactly what it is. I've never seen one, you see. Is there a way that someone could describe to me what exactly it is?
The dash is a shell that was made off a factory firebird dash. It isnt strong enough to hold all the crap in a factory dash.

Seen one? Several times. Doesn't look much like the factory dash (since it's all glass) and won't fit as perfect as the factory dash.

I took everything out of my stock dash and put it in the car.. it dont weigh but 8#. I took all the braces off and everything, only thing holding it in are the bolts above that mount under the dash pad. its not as easy to work on or take out as the glas dash, but it is light and works just dandy
