Darting All The Way Down The Track When Power Applied
The car has been a handful to drive and has seemed to get worse. As you can see in the second video, the car makes a big move to the left everytime the power is reapplied, very noticeable on the big end. Car also seems to be rocking from front driverside to the rear passenger side
Suspension mods are listed below.
Front:
BMR K-Member
BMR Lower A-Arms
Hal R-Series Shocks (Set on 5 or 6)
Rear:
BMR Extreme Torque Arm (-2 Pinion Angle)
BMR Rod Ended LCAs
BMR LCA Relocation Brackets (Set on lowest hole)
BMR Adjustable Panhard Bar
Stock Shocks and Springs
We recently installed a Wolfe Anti-Roll, but I have yet to make it back to the track.
Any help would definitely be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
Anything else I should be looking out for?
Thanks,
Dave
I dont like to use the sway bar to drive the car.
I have no experience with a stick car, but I recently had my alignment redone, and I did a few other changes, and my car (T400) is now almost boring to drive. Before that I had to actively steer it and almost pedal it in 3rd gear.

The car has been aligned, but the rear has been moved some for tire clearance since the alignment.

scale the car
Then you can adjust the rear swaybar to keep the car pointing straight. Disconnect one side to make the car "neutral" and then put it on the scales. You will raise or lower your ride height slightly at the passenger side rear as you adjust the preload on that side of the sway bar. Adjusting the passenger side while leaving the driver side alone is the "standard" when tweaking pre-load. Seek out a reputable chassis shop in your area. If they have scales, they probably know what they are doing, but still go in there with eyes wide open/ask around about their rep beforehand. It is YOUR life that is on the line when your car darts towards the wall.
