Rip it off, dead weight that stops proper weight transfer. mine came off 3 years ago, never even know it's gone, unless going around twisty back roads at 90 mph is your thing.. in that case, why are you in the drag racing forum LOL.

couldnt agree more JL ws-6 If your not track racing the car it is not needed to go in a strait line. I always look at it like "If it doesnt help me go strait and it doesnt add power, who needs it?"

It takes like 15 minutes to take off....
I pulled my bar, endlinks, and mounting brackets a couple weeks ago, and I'm in no rush to put it back on. Dead weight.

Mines history too. I couldn't tell you if it made a differance I put shocks, cage, skinnies and bigger rear sway bar at the same time. I'd like to think so but don't really know. But I due know that the more weight you remove, the quicker you will go and that bitch is heavy.

Without swaybar -1.50 60'
With swaybar -1.49 60'

I saw no difference except the car would launch straighter with it on. It's more for the weight issue.

Dunno, seemed to let my car transfer weight better. With the swaybar, when my car was pretty much stock, on stock F1 tires with a lid and catback it ran 13.6, without went 13.4, 60 foot generally went from 2.3's to 2.1's Could have been me getting more used to the car, could have been the track that day, who knows. All I know is I saw a gain, so it never went back on.

Removing front sway bar was a waste of time for my stock sup. car. 60ft got a tad worse and car didn't react any different without it. If will go back on my car. 1.5's are good enough for me if I want better I get the coil overs.

I was stuck at bottom 11's trying to run 10's in full weight pure street form. I finally got my 10 but did remove the sway bar and also the spare tire. It certainly did feel like the car raised higher, transfered weight better and was biting better. It's easy enough to pull off to see what happens. If you don't see a gain just throw it back on.

well it felt like the front was lifting up alot faster when me a seadoo went to test the car out. Wouldnt have taken so long ti remove it but we lost a socket and took 20 of the 30 minutes it took to find just that. i havent been able to really lay into the car that much to see if it handels different, went to test it last week again and well at 130 the trans desided it had enough and gave out. But the car seems to lift faster and stay up longer.

I was running a solid BMR 32mm...so it was pretty damn heavy. Just the bar was almost 25 pounds.

unless you have full suspension that's perfectly tuned - the swaybar removed will help transfer wieght and give you better traction. i coulnd't hook my car for **** on stock shocks and springs and a drag radial - then i took off the front swaybar and it dead hooks everytime.

i wouldn't worry about it too much if you have aftermarket shocks/springs/torque arm..... and the other crap.
