I'm with a98ws6. I'm in the process of converting to a drag only car so I have some time before I make a decision on which intake to buy. I do plan on spraying so I like the idea of a less chance of leaning #7 & #8 and more even EGT's. It addition, it looks like it will be less expensive than a 90/90 setup.

I think the general concensus right now is that it's not a very good intake for a stock cubic inch engine unless it is an all out drag car shifting at 8000.

I think you're right about the all out drag car...but the shifting at 8K is something not yet shown.

something else, cam choice will be crucial. what is ideal for the FAST isn't necessarily ideal for a vic jr type intake since intake is no longer restricted...

I just kinda threw out the 8000. I bet it doesn't make any more power till 6k on a stock CID though.

cam size will probably be smaller in general for this intake for the same powerband as a FAST 90. the valves will have to be open for less time for the cylinder to fill the same amount because of less intake restriction.
