I suspect your talking about the impact bar?

It has a foam cover over it that supports the nose.

I believe it was 15lbs without the foam. If you cut the frame rails off that it attaches to that's another 5-6lbs.

Like GM Muscle said my scale read 14 lbs. for the impact bar and 4 lbs. for the foam. I rented a saw at Low`s and cut the frame rails that the bumper bolted to and saved 5.5 lbs. I also took off all the panneleing under the bumper cover and the washer fluid tank. I rigged up some aluminum 1 inch by 1/8 inch thick brackets to hold the top of the bumper cover up to fit flush with the hood and I slotted the bracket to adjust the gap between the hood and the bumper cover. I did not reuse the bracket that has the two hood levelers on it. I wish DopefedZ would post some pictures of his bumper. I mounted mine back up like he did his. Altogether I saved around 34 lbs.

how fast have you gone with the bumper like that? any 150+ trips? i wondor how they do like that at high speeds. if they aren't to bad, thats a NICE idea!
