POWERMASTER XS Torque for the ls1. I don't have a part number. I'm not sure if our sponsers carry them. I got mine from Summit awhile back. It's a heavy duty starter for sure Just ask for the above item.

I have a 14:1 408 that I use the stock starter for, it turns it over no problems as long as the battery is good.

I am curious to see a side by side size comparision. I have VERY limited space down there and if that on is any bigger than stock I wouldnt be able to use it.

I would hate to spend $235 for something that doesnt fit with my headers

Unless my scale is off the stock starter weighed around 7 lbs. and the powermaster starter weighed around 8lbs.

Yes it was a direct bolt in. It was tight getting it past the headers but it made it in. I only had one issue with it, after starting it up for the first time the starter ring gear wouldn't disengage from the flywheel. I then had to pull the starter and shim it with a supplied spacer. No big deal.
