I'm partial to Bogarts, and 28-12.50-15 ET Streets. Did the dragLites/caliper mod and since upgtraded. A little pricey but the DragLites got old fast, plus no grinding to fit the Bogarts. The M/T 325-50-15 RADIAL ET Street is NOT a 28" tire(87" circ. vs. 88" on the Bias ply Street).... about 27 1/2" but is a wide MF'r which will stick out a hair(or two)past the fender lip = goophy. I've had the M/T radials and they just didn't look right on my car(full time skinnies/slicks)... but definately do hook.
Attached some(old)pics to give you an idea of how the 28's look.... car is down on the tires now.

and is my theory right? a 15" rim and a 26" slick should have the same sidewall as a 16" rim and a 27" slick? (ie same wrinkle effect and bite properties)

Can you do it? sure. i had my 26x10.0 ET drags on some 15x8's and it looked so retarded i shelled out $380 for some 15x10's. problem solved.

Just my humble opinion, but I would suggest you get 15" Bogart wheels from one of the sponsors. SJM -------------->
No grinding needed. They make them to fit our F-body cars and clear the calipers. Plus they're better looking wheels.
If you have any questions you can give Steve Monte a call and he will answer all the questions you might have about fitment. Just FYI. . . I run Bogart 15X10 D-10 wheels w/Hoosier 27/11.50/15 QTP tires, no fitment probs at all.
The grinding hell outta my calipers never appealed to me. I know people do it and it works, as well as using spacers, but it has always seemed Ghetto to me. Go with the Bogarts and never look back.

You can't just slap a pair of QTP or M/T ET tires on a stock suspension car and expect it to hook up like a car that has been set up properly, with the right suspension mods. Apples to Oranges.
As for them fitting in the wheel wells, my car is not lowered, and the
Moser 9" rearend actually jacks the *** end up a little bit. I have plenty of room for 27's, but the 28x10.5 full slicks I have will require the BFH mod and some cutting of the bump stop. Most 4th gen cars that have not been lowered have no problem with the 11.50x27x15 tires clearing. (AFAIK)
