Wheelie bars and front end limiters
Well I got the car to the track and needless to say I need some wheelie bars and front end limiters. Im spraying out the hole and hooking pretty good and im lifting the front about 2 feet off the foot break (I have a trans break but I also have a stonk 10 bolt ) My problem is when the car comes down from the launch it tends to spin because of the weight transfer from the rear. Does this sound right because its the only thing I can think of why the car is spinning when it comes down. The car is just coming up too easy on the nitrous on my best pass to date I launched the car it came up about 2 feet when it came down the tires spun so i let out and then pegged it again and the front came up about 4-8" and when it came down from that hieght it didnt spin and I just stayed in it the whole run. Basically I want to know what you all think I should do and If the limiters and wheelie bars are the way to go whose should I go with? Im going with a billingsley fab rear and will have him weld the wheelie bar brackets on the rear. Any pics would also help alot. Thanks guys

put travel limiters on, play with the shock settings or- just delay the nitrous hit like .05-.1. using the trans brake and window switch.
You wouldn't NEED wheelie bars, besides, I think it's rule that you have to put it on the bumper
before you can get wheelie bars.

The front will not control the wheel stands. The AJE doesnt have the valving to handle this. What do you have for shocks in the rear???????????????

Get some drag shocks that are adjustable for the rear. (Strange, QA1, or AFCO). Then put some limiters on the front. You dont need wheelie bars. You can also get a set of "Save Your ***" bars for the front for insurance.

Definition of "save your *** bars" please?
Im assuming its for those sweet launches were your car comes a rediculous amount of the ground, and instead of slamming everything to the floor you have those bars for protection?

i love the " Save your *** bars" my car is lowered 2 inches all the way around, and i tend to scrape a little, so i would rather scrape them than my oil pan and headers, and they work well at the track, Saved my buddy Ben's LT1 Z28. hey madman, i may order another set, just to have as spares

I would put limiters on the front. What i would do is make sure that your frontend has some preload on it and that should do the trick. As for the adjustable shocks i have qa1s and i think the ***** are for looks because they don't do **** for me.With the limiters on,the shocks seen to work as for tuning suspenion.BTW i can put my car on the back bumper with the shock set as tight as they will go.Once the limiters went on it made a huge diffrence.
