TH350 or T56 Which will be faster?????
But what i think you are asking is which would be quicker.
I would say th350 cause a heavy car with decent power (like yours probably is) will break a T56 and or the clutch.
If automatics were faster they'd run em in PRO STOCK. Put a stick in it

word... if you can keep the tranny together and shift correctly a stick is always faster..
and im not biased i have a th350 but its more consistent and it dont break **** all the time...

I've had th400's also there both fun, a sticks just more fun,but your right an automatic won't break as much ****.
Put a th400 in it, and change fluids and filter, and probably never take it out, unless you start spraying or go the the track weekly, in that case everythign's getting redone all the time.

thats what i want soooo bad... that would be awesome on the street and strip...
you could have 4.10 rear gears and have the 4th gear in the jefco at like .8 or something... that would be soo bad ***
hitting the big lighting rods, oh baby!
no maintenance what so ever...
i have friends who runs 5.0x in the 8th and spraying about 550shot and never had one issue with his jefco... he said he felt guilty about it and changed the tranny fluid once last year.
The T56 is ok for running about stock power on the street but everyone knows that planetary gears are more hardy against the kinds of strain you are going to be putting on it.
Your car isn't faster if it breaks down at the track.

10.6 at 128 with a trans brake 400 not good enough?
its nothing like a stick car launching off the revlimiter
