Its still sitting right in our showroom. We would love to keep this car, but we have a few other projects ahead of this one. This car should be certified to 8.50s.

Well, I thought you guys wanted to go fast...

This is the ONLY way to truly go "FAST" would be with one of these...

That's the way to GO right there!!!

Of course I am somewhat partial to "pipe-buggies"

pipe buggies, haha.

I'm only interested in door-slammers. They need to "look" like an actual car to me, I suppose. At the NHRA races, my favorite event is Pro Stock. I'm impressed with the ET/mph of the top fuels and funnys, but appearance-wise they do nothing for me.

It just has a basic cage in it. It would cert to 8.50. Faster than that it needs to be 25.4 to run to 7.50.

Tony, I'm with you. I wouldn't want to own anything but a door-slammer.

Pro Stock is so much more fun to watch. You never know who is going to win until it's over. I really respect anyone that can shift a car 5 times in less than 7 seconds.

Nice, you would spend over 17K on just buying the car and getting the body work done alone, chasis looks reallys nice

Eh, diggers all look alike

I'm in total agreement, gotta have doors for me to pilot it. Bummer about the 8.50, because I'd make sure to have it in the 7s

Hey hey hey, I didn't say I thought you wanted to look pretty, I said GO FAST!

Trust me, I am one of the 3 people that don't go to the stands until Top Fuel and Funny Car are OVER... i love Pro Stock, that is the only class that the driver can really win or lose a race on a consistent basis.

I just wish somebody would figure out what Greg Anderson is doing already. It's like watching 7 races where you're not sure who is going to win and the Greg and whoever he is strok... racing...

C'mon Dave Connolly!

After seriously considering a late model F-body race car....and making some offers on a few cars, I'm very glad I ended up with an 'old school' race car. They just command a whole lot more attention at the track from a greater variety of people. Now if I can just come up with some money to convert my BBC to a 1200-1500 hp LS1 with big turbo.....one day anyway.

Tony....sell the '98, go for the '70!
