I know I can sell the rearend here on island and get a stocker while I tub, then once I get back to the mainland I can pick up a 9" w/o shipping narrowed etc.. Oh boy.

Or did you leave it alone and just cut the back bumper area and move the rear end back? How do you think they'd fit with a non-minitubbed car "heightwise". Think they'd be fine, just not allowing much area for the car to "sit" over the tire. Thanks for any info.

I cut the front and rear of the quarter panels and had them rolled to fit those 30" tires. I had a body shop do mine a few years back. You don't need to mini tub to fit 30" tires but you do need to mini tub and shorten the axles to tuck the wheel in, lower the car with a large 30" tire and get a deep dish wheel. I did the mini tub myself.
