Default help with hal's

i just installed a k-member, lower a-arms and hal shocks & springs. how far up the shock should the spanner nuts be? i just want to get it somewhat close before i haul to get aligned. i count 22 theads right now, and it is sitting way too low. thanks.

i would adjust it until you have the ride height desired. I did mine by measuring at the fender from the ground and once i had it where i wanted it and both sides were the same i had it aligned. what springs did you get with the front hals?

i got the 300 lb. springs.

Mine are near the top third. I got one side where I wanted it, about 1.5" lower than stock, then counted threads for the other side.

on mine it was 7.5"-8" from the bottom nut to the a-arm.. What i mean is take a ruler and place one end of it at the a-arm(right where the shock bolts to it) then measure to the bottom spanner nut. My car is 1/4" lower then stock, cant remember the exact measurement but i do know its more then 7".. One note, set the height and go for a ride, it will settle a bit lower..
