I think QA1's in the front with accompanying springs are gonna cost more than 300...... I think the springs are like 100 bucks..... and the fronts are like 169 a piece......

But yeah if you were hurrying it up then get the CE's.... they are better than stock but they suck to adjust.....

If you get the QA-1's, get the R series.

What size are the QA1 springs? Summit sells springs made by QA1 for fairly cheap in a variety of different rates.

Strange shocks are made by QA1 - don't be fooled. Contact QA1 and they'll tell you themselves.

I know this may sound cheesey, but I did an experiment on my '98 Camaro. I went to O'reily's and bought two Monroe matic shocks (the blue ones) for the rear just to see what they would do. They work great!! My car dead hooks on the street with a Yank 3600 Stall, G5X3 Cam, and a TNT 150 shot spraying out of the hole!! Here's a video to prove it:

im no guru but i can definalty get a stick tranny car to hook up, light front springs with qa1 r series shocks and no sway bar and those skinnies you talkin about all on the front the car will definaly transfer the weight back there for you, i was goin 1.48 on stock rear shocks and swaybar, long as you get the transfer worked out, good torque arm helps a bit also, i love my bmr adjustable, i have put that thing through serious hell, hit it hard enough to bumper drag the car once and it still goin strong

i dont understand why you think you need anything other than stock shocks and springs if you are only going to go 1.60 60' times. many, including me, have done this in a t56 setup with stock shocks/springs.

my thoughts exactly, stock fronts and rears, with stock springs, adjustable torque arm, relocation brackets, stock rear swaybar, no front swaybar, stock kmemeber and arms and metric radial skinnies up front 1.48 60' on a 10.5 slick 3450lbs
