Brian, thanks... thought about that this afternoon messing with the car on a lift. I am scraping the idea of my Whipple fitment I'd need to lower the engine about 2" at least, depending on whats left behind the cowl other than the wiper arm...so that two inches makes the front basically a hazard to anything similar to a walnut sized rock!

Post number 31 has pick of the MADMAN motor plate. It is for a SBC in an Fbody. Install was easy and the fit was perfect out of the box.

i have the plates in my lt1 and they are very easy to install, i put the l brackets in the front of the plates because i didnt figure it really mattered but they fit my lt1 really nice with no cutting on anything, just bolted them up, dropped the motor in and welded up the tabs.
and yes i know, i need to clean the engine bay but the car is still getting put together.
