You just need to call and speak with someone to get the information required. IIRC, I had to fax a copy of my license (both sides) and address information, etc. It doesn't cost anything to be enrolled in the discount programs.

The discount is not across the board. Some manufacturers items are discounted more than others. Some items you may save a few pennies, and others may be substancial. Simply call the sales staff and do a price check to see how much savings are to be had on any given item.

Also, the costs will be different between Jegs and Summit, so you'll have to call each. The Summit program is called the "Pro Shop" and you have to call a specific phone number and order during typical weekday business hours. Jegs program you call the main number and can speak with any sales rep 24/7.

That racers discount program is sweet. I got a $400 dollar Simpson helmet for $330. Anyone know if Weld takes part in the discount? I'm looking into some front one-piece Magnums or Alumastars but that's some serious cash.

Do run those M/T wheels your going to need to narrow the rearend to get them to work.... they only come in three bac spce sizes 3.5", 4.5", and 5.5"

I was bored so I put the front Magnums on my new ride. Not sure what this is all about but I was able to fit them without even grinding the stock calipers. Maybe the car has some kind of aftermarket rotor but they didn't hit the caliper at all.

These are 1 3/4 backspacing. I had to grind the crap out of my stock calipers on my Z to get these to fit but they slipped right on the bird.

there's a guy on racingjunk that has a whole bunch of "overstock" i personally like the bolts and how they look on the rims compared to the 1 piece rears. it's like larry hodges is the guy's name. he has them pretty damn cheap.

for the 1 piece fronts and 3 piece rears, it was like $699 for the setup.

Also, the M/T ET Drag front wheels are less than half the cost of the Welds. I just ordered a set and they listed through Jegs for $229 ($284 from Summit) and with the racer discount program they were $188 each.

Previously these wheels were dual bolt pattern which weren't the most appealing looking. But M/T has recently changed them to be single bolt pattern which looks much cleaner IMO.

didn't find them for that price in jegs it said they were over 300

there's two part numbers for the same thing.

one of them are just the 5 holes, and the others are the 10 holes for the two different bolt patterns. might be out of stock on the old style(10 bolts)

It's personal preference with the 1.75 or 2.25 front. Either will fit after grinding stock calipers except the 2.25 will tuck in more. Unless you have the rear narrowed I believe you are suppose to run a 7-7.5 backspacing anything less will stick out that much more past the fender. I would personally do a 10" wide wheel though over the 8".

You got it...... they dont make the rear wheels to fit a stock rear.....
and that price above was with the racers discount... the discount you get when you have your NHRA license to run 9 sec and under passes..... you send the form into them and thats how u get the discount......
