Looking to ditch that huge factory overflow tank.
Well I bought the summit catch can for like $15 bones and was looking for a place to mount it. The easiest thing I came up with was to pull the metal tube out of the original overflow tank, then pull the 90 degree elbow off off the summit can and place the pipe into it. It fits perfectly. Then to mount it I took some of that cheap exhaust hanging crap and ran a strip of it along the mounting holes on the bottle and bolted it down with just a little slack left over. From there I mounted it under the headlight bracket. I think it looks decent for under 20 bucks.

I did basically the same thing, mounted it (summit brand) to inner fender close to where the water pump outlets are for the heater, still have a small battery where the old coolant res used to be.
