Default Anyone use a 15X8 rim and 28X9X15 ET Drag setup...?

I am thinking of using this setup....gives me 27.3 in height (not quite the 28 it is advertised as), should fit easily within wheel well, etc. I am looking not to modify the car any more than it allready is (have lots of suspension, adjustable panhard rod bar, BFH mod, upper and lower CA, welded subframe conectors, relocation bracket, HAL QA1's all around).

I think this setup will give me the most traction in terms of compound and size...

it'll fit just fine. but you will have to grind your calipers if they are still stock.

I asume the height is fine, no rubbing of the inside of the fenderwell....aren't there some 15 in. rims that fit without grinding the calipers?

Really just Bogarts.

I ran 15x8/5.5 Draglites but had to grind the calipers. I did not have to clearance the inner part of the fender at all. I believe Juggernaut ran the same stuff too on his camaro.

I had that combo too. Worked great, no fitment issues at all besides some grinding.

Any pics of that setup? Its funny I run across this thread because I'm considering the same tire and everything.
