Two reasons that we narrow the rear that way, although there are other reasons to do it other ways.
1. The rim is the same weight no matter what the backspace, but the 3.5 makes the axle lighter unsprung and rotating.
2. The axle housing has a shorter leverage point from lower control arm to drive point, this makes the housing tougher to bend.
The car looks great guys.

Is that the car that scotty bought off you? That was a nice car.. I wish I had teh $ to buy it when he sold it... that car would have been an awesome car to put a big power setup in.

Yes, that car "was" Scotty's car, but I know where it resides now................In MY garage
The car has come quite a way since Scotty owned it and Eastside worked on it Had many small issues to be fixed, but all is good now and it looks much better than when Scotty owned it

I know, there was a lot of little **** the car needed.... but as far as the major stuff, it was mint. Congrats on picking up a good car, hope you're building a good 700 min. rwhp setup like that car deserved.

Hey, I'm not complaining about the car one bit
Only problem was that I had to drive over 1800 miles round trip to get it
Looks pretty much like the car back when it was out east, just cleaned up ALOT and lots of PAINTWORK .
Now, the Prostars are gone and it has 1 piece Weld Magnums on the front (polished). Will get the rears before long.
As for the powerplant, it will easily have more than 700 rwhp

Had I bought that car, first thign I would have done would have been to strip teh car bare and repaint it, repaint the undercarriage stuff, engine bay, all of it, redo the center console, and then start building the biggest power maker I could afford.
Looks goood, nice to see that car back looking like it should. Now get that motor in it!
